FAQ’s

Do I need a referral?
No, just contact us and we will be happy to arrange an appointment.

How long will I have to wait for an appointment? 
You can be seen as soon as it is convenient for both you and the therapist. We do not operate waiting lists.

How often will my child need therapy? 
This depends on your child’s individual needs, the nature of the communication difficulty and the level of concern. We will be happy to discuss this with you and make recommendations regarding this once we know you and your child better. Generally, children tend to attend sessions once a week unless they have more complex needs. Children with complex needs may need longer term support. If this is the case we will be happy to discuss and agree a number of therapy sessions with a review date for future decision making.

How much will sessions cost?
The prices vary depending on whether an assessment or therapy takes place. Charges include travel costs. Any additional costs can be discussed with the therapist, e.g. attendance at meetings at your child’s school. Please contact us if you would like more details.

What is the cancellation policy?
We have a 24hr cancellation policy – appointments not cancelled / cancelled on the day of your session are charged in full.
